Retaining Wall and Garden Steps in Chilcompton
About this project
This Chilcompton garden had a raised lawn above the patio with no proper edge or access. We built a new retaining wall in buff stone along the full length of the lawn.
In the centre we built a wide set of sandstone steps with stone piers either side, giving easy access from the patio up to the lawn and a neat focal point for the garden.
The finished wall gives a crisp, solid edge between the two levels and will stand up to years of use.
