Gravel Parking Area and Tarmac Driveway in Chilcompton

A driveway project at a stone cottage in Chilcompton, combining a new tarmac driveway with a large golden gravel parking area.

We excavated the area, installed edging to hold the gravel in place along a clean curved line, and laid a hard-wearing sub-base before topping it with golden gravel. The tarmac driveway runs alongside to give a solid, sealed surface for the main access.

The result is plenty of off-road parking that drains freely and suits the rural setting of the property.
